Can We Talk? Helping Families Talk About Self-Esteem, Sex and Peer Pressure
This program helps parents of children in grades 4 through 8 enhance their role as sexuality educators of their children. It is a four-part workshop series that helps families talk about self-esteem, puberty, sexuality, mixed messages, and peer pressure. Each class contains content for a one-hour interactive discussion, home activities between parent and child, and videos that focus on communication. The planning and training manual, family activity book and video are included. The Spanish version ¿Conversamos? is also available.

Our Whole Lives (OWL) A Lifespan Sexuality Education Series
Unitarian Universalist Association and United Church Board For Homeland Ministries
This is a comprehensive lifespan sexuality education series developed jointly by the Unitarian Universalist Association and the United Church Board for Homeland Ministries. To involve parents in the sexuality education of their children, the series includes The Parent Guide to Our Whole Lives: Grades K-1 and 4-6. Both The Parent Guide and Our Whole Lives for Grades K-1 must be purchased together for such use. It consists of five newsletters for each grade level pre-school through twelve that are intended to assist families in communicating more openly about sexuality.
